Lenten Charity Our Lenten Charity this year will be Hygiene Hub. This is an Irish Charity seeking to meet need in Ireland amongst some of our most vulnerable citizens. https://www.hygienehub.ie/about  Julie Daunt, Owen’s daughter, is a local representative for the charity.  During Lent and Easter, we will collect items that can passed on to the charity via Julie. She writes, “Hygiene Hub in Cork is a community initiative that collects and distributes hygiene products to local Community Partners, who in turn provide them free of charge to those in need. Hygiene Hub Cork is part of a grassroots network of volunteers tackling hygiene poverty across Ireland. We believe hygiene is a right, not a luxury, and we work to support people in crisis by providing essential items such as personal care products, baby supplies, and laundry essentials through trusted community organisations.”  Last two weeks to collect donations in Crosshaven  and Nohoval

Seamans Christian Friend Society    If you would like to contribute items like shower gel & shampoo (ideally 250ml bottles as these fit perfectly in the large zip lock bags), soap, heavy socks, warm hats, razors, snack bars, writing pads, toothbrushes etc this month. The idea is to reach one ship’s crew per month.  Many thanks for your continued support.
